We are currently looking to fill a Digital Production Designer position at L2TMedia! 

Job Summary

The Digital Production Designer will create advertising for the automotive industry that will appear on Facebook, Google, and Amazon, and assist with maintaining creative elements on our client’s websites. This role requires expertise of Adobe and Microsoft Office applications, a strong understanding of researching and enforcing brand standards, and excellent communication skills to elevate the creative department’s output.

Responsibilities 
  • Produce a high-volume of digital creative efficiently using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. 
  • Source images and assets from a variety of different sources including online portals, websites and internal drives.
  • Support organization of assets within our shared drive while keeping track of asset updates through our Microsoft Excel catalog.
  • Maintain banner creative on client websites.
  • Collaborate with the Creative department and other internal departments including Customer Success Team and Sales to complete design work for client campaigns.

Education Requirement 
  • Associates degree in Design or related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Required Skills 
  • Must be able to commute to Evanston, IL and maintain a hybrid work schedule (two days in office per week). 
  • Expertise of applications including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word. 
  • Solid foundation in typography hierarchy, layout and digital design with an eye for detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to clearly communicate ideas, interpret feedback and provide solutions.
  • Juggling multiple projects while effectively managing tight timelines.
  • Ability to comprehend and perform to set operating procedures and processes to retain efficiency.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to come up with new, creative solutions to business problems. 
  • 1+ year working in a digital design role producing effective results, internships apply.
  • Proficient use of industry software including: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word. 
  • Established portfolio representing successful execution of design projects in a variety of media – digital preferred.
  • Regard for established brand guidelines, brand integrity and consistency.

Preferred Skills 
  • Understanding of digital channels Facebook, Google, etc. and the digital marketing space.
  • WordPress [or similar] website experience, logging into website platforms and making content edits.
  • Experience producing work for large corporate clients.
  • Basic understanding of automotive industry and being able to spot the differences between specific makes, models, and trims of vehicles.

Assessment
  • Candidates will have 24 hours to design a series of images and set up a client logo for one of our clients who wants to run Demand Gen Google ads. This assessment should not take more than one hour to complete.
  • This assessment will be judged on the following criteria – in order of importance:
    • Understanding of directions 
    • Correct vehicle imagery 
    • Adherence to brand standards 
    • Use of provided assets 
    • Organization of working file

The total compensation range for this full-time position is $45,000.00USD and based on experience and location of where the job is performed.
